What is a Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and why does it matter?

Our LSIP is a plan for employment and skills in the Local London sub-region that has been designed, to better match the local training offer in our sub region to the skills employer say they need.  For more information on LSIP in Local London see here (https://www.local.london/lsip/)

50 Forward: Responding to the LSIP

Local London uses Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) to identify local skills needs and provide resources for residents. These booklets identify 5 sectors and highlight suitable skills and training opportunities for long-term careers. They also help fill vacancies that we have now in our sub-region and attract more Londoners into jobs. The publications target older residents, demonstrating how their experience can benefit local priority sectors.

These simple publications offer guidance on becoming responsive and flexible in meeting the needs of local employers who are hiring now!
